The Client needed a thorough review of small contracts, signed within the last several years, in order to identify unusual transactions. This required an analysis of the distributions, trends, and statistics for individual vendors across different departments, types of projects, and over different time periods.

Descriptive data analysis performed to identify trends, distributions, and typical values

Trends represented in graphical and tabular formats for all fiscal years, quarters and months, across the departments and contract types

Rules to detect unusual transactions were developed and each contract was ranked.

Scores from different rules were combined and a single score for each contract was calculated.
